Who are we, really?

Are we separate from everything around us?

Newton presented to us in the 17th century, theories that formed the backbone of modern science; theories that show all of the elements of the universe as separate from one another, elements as isolated, divisible, and wholly self contained.   A view of separateness accepted by the world, individual particles of matter following certain laws of motion through space and time. The universe as a machine.

Descarte espoused the human body as a machine, following the laws of physics, with the mind as a non material entity that does not follow these laws.  He also observed 'I think, therefore I am', making man a conscious being. This separation of mind from body, combined with doubt of the bodies senses - instead yielding totally to reason and logic, further cemented the world view of separateness.

Einstein reconciled Newtons tidy view of the quantum world with the emergence of knowledge of the fleetingness of the electron in the electromagnetic field. He was the first to open a door on an unresolved aspect of the tiniest bits of matter, existing both as waves and particles. Scientists were confounded by this duality, unable to get past the dogma of separateness.

Darwin further ingrained the separateness, with the theory of survival of the fittest, you are no more than an evolutionary accident determined by random mutations in your DNA according to his theory of evolution. This theory fathered the genetic technology revolution which would have us be 'victims' of mutations in our DNA which then need to be 'fixed' by a medical system which zeros in on each symptom, each codon of DNA.

These paradigms which have created the separateness program that has been running inside each of us, have been exploited even further by forces wishing to control humanity. These controlling forces are affirming and policing that we are separate not only from each other but also separate from from god, and the only way to reach him is through a chain of command, a pope, a pastor, a rabi, pharasee.

And so today, with our current technological advances that have allowed us to become masters of our universe, have we really become any happier? We have a global economy, a leisure class, space travel, instant communication and instant knowledge via the internet.  But do we really understand things about life that are important, like how we think, or how cells and organs can become healthy again, how does one cell become a whole person, and what happens to our consciousness when we die? Why haven't we come closer to a cure for cancer - after fifty years of research and billions of dollars spent, or even explaining something as fundamental as how the humble bumblebee can fly?

Lynn McTaggart in 'The Field' has compiled documented literature that tells a radical new story, one that strongly suggests that our essence is existence in a unified field, an interdependant relationship with all other things, each part affecting the whole.  As phenomenal as it sounds, when a butterfly flaps it's wings in Mexico it can affect the weather in Canada! If we are a part of this unified field, we are forced to rethink our definitions of ourselves, what it is to be human, and what our capabilities really are.

As Lynn says, 'If we are in constant and instantaneous dialogue with our environment, if all the information from the cosmos flows through our pores at every moment, then our current notion of our human potential is only a glimmer of what it should be."

And so just what are these vague but vast potentials that the unified field,  zero point energy field, and interconnectedness of all things will allow us to tap into? Imagine a vast inexhaustable energy source, at least equal to but likely greater than the power in a single atom, sitting in the 'space' between particles.  Lynn writes that according to Richard Feynman, the energy in a single cubic meter of space is enough to boil all the oceans of the world ! You certainly couldn't do that with even with all the gasoline on the planet, and just imagine the resulting smog if you did!

Other implications from the discovery of the unified field are that all matter in the universe are interconnected by waves that are spread out through time and space ad infinitum, connecting every part of the universe together. This explains many metaphysical or energetic phenomenon like Qi Gong, Reiki, and the notion of our own Qi network inside of our bodies as accupuncture meridians and chakras - and extending further to the earth's own meridians - ley lines, and chakras or sacred sites.  We are connected to this immense field by our own meridians, and we are also connected to the earth's meridians, and extending further - the earth is connected to the galaxy's meridians which is connected to the universe, and so on.  But not only that - space is not empty - it is full, of zero point energy. The space between atoms and molecules is full of zero point energy. We are immersed in the field, and it runs our bodies, our planet, our galaxy, our universe.

So who are we, really?  If this field is an integral part of everything, including us, then why can't humanity come up with ways to power our houses, run our cars, fly our jets and spacecraft - that don't poison this planet and everyone living on it?  Why can't we heal ourselves of our ailments?  Why can't we live a life that is free of stress?  Why do so many live in poverty and without hope?

Tough questions, but think about it. What or who is benefitting from gasoline and oil consumption? What or who is benefitting from an ever burgeoning medical system? The everyday Jane and Joe certainly aren't.  Many conspiracy theories exist because activists did some digging to find answers to these very questions. These questions have indeed already been answered by dedicated scientists, physicists, metaphysicians, and shamans in many cultures. Amazingly, we do have ways to harness the field to power our houses and vehicles - evidence that has been hidden from the public. Okay, I hear you asking 'Is this just a load of bunk?'  And that's the exact question many people ask when confronted with innovative technology. Remember the world before the microchip?

The notion of separateness that is artificially placed upon us, has created the notion of 'lack'.  That we lack the money, rsources, capability, knowledge, power.   That we have to 'keep' what we have to ourselves and prevent others from getting it.  The fear that there will not be enough for everyone.  Wars to keep the populace 'busy' so that the elite few can exploit.  Hordes of money stashed away by a few while the many are living in squalor.  Patents keep knowledge stashed away, to be utilized by a privileged few.

What would happen if we could just 'let go' of the notion of separateness?  And instead, tap into the immense unified field that exists around us and inside of us?

We become empowered. For the first time in eons...

Think about it. Try it out, even if it is only for a moment. It's easier to feel the field when you are inside of an energy vortex, or are at a sacred place.

Benevolent Beings outside of this planet see us as Divine Beings. Isn't it about time that we believed it?
